Bridge Building Party!

Looking at the St. John's bridge everyday can make for some serious bridge-envy. We decided to compensate with one of our own, in homage to the afore mentioned. Effing A.

Guilty as charged in this project:
- Gerhardt
- Tristan
- Pete
- Jess
- Basho
- Tom
- John Dougherty
- Jack
- Honore
- Joe
- A party full of people

Some beams were hauled.

Some beams were raised.

A tale of two towers.
Through measure and scale.

Things are made and pointed at. Teej looks on with keen interest.
Basho miscuts yards of lumber.

Gerhart does not do the same.

Some talk is had.

Tristan doing the do.
Planks getting laid for the spans.

Horizontal supports are added. The party gets bigger.

Six hours later, it's as if we've always had a bridge in the yard!

Peace out, girl and boy scouts. The only thing remaining to be done is the stylization of the bridge to mimic features of the St. John's.

actually curious about Pete. Did you go to Denison for a bit and play Ultimate?

I Would just like to say that this is possibly the neatest blog that I have come across. Good work on all of your projects! I can't wait until I have a house of my own to do stuff like this to!
